In honor of Autism Awareness/Acceptance Month, we invite artists to share their vision of the neurodiverse world. Through color, shape, and imagination, show us what acceptance, understanding, and different ways of thinking look like.

Age Categories

  • Below 8

  • Ages 8–12

  • Teens (13–17)

  • Adults (18+)

  • Local artist award

  • Autistic Artist award

Art Medium

  • Digital Art

  • Traditional Medium (paint, pencil, marker ect.)

  • Sculpture

  • Mixed Media

Grand Prize

  • Featured exhibit displayed for the entire month in store as the Grand Prize Winner

  • $50 Amazon Gift Card

All exhibitors who come to the event receive a positive Neurodiversity pin of their choice at the exhibit to wear and take home as thanks for sharing their art with the community.

One submission will receive recognition as the Community Choice Winner, which will be voted on only by community members attending the exhibition. 

Age Group Winners receive art supplies aligned with their age group which may include Portfolio Carriers, Paints, Drawing tools, Art kits etc…

Local Artist Featured receives a One month membership to The Brainery  

 

Autistic Artist Featured receives a One month membership to The Brainery 

We strongly encourage tangible in person artwork in any exhibition size. Digital Works will be printed on 11x14 at contest creator cost. If an exhibitor’s digital artwork cannot print high quality at 11 x 14, it may not be exhibited, so please insure your aspect ratios and resolution are suitable for printing at this size.

Rules

  • Submit digital art as a PDF or JPG (Other local artist media please submit jpeg of your submission and notate that you would be able to bring your work prior to the exhibition. Setup for the exhibition will be on April 30.) using the form

  • Minimum resolution (ex: 300 DPI)

  • One entry per person 

  • Deadline April 25,2026 12 am PST

  • Original work only

  • Artist retains rights but grants permission for display/promotion.

 

Judging criteria:

  • Creativity (40%)

  • Technical skill (20%)

  • Theme relevance (20%)

  • Emotional impact/originality (20%)

April 26–28 – Judging

April 29 – Winners announced

April 30 - Exhibition setup
